I love the holidays! There is party or festivity on what seems like everyday which means there is lots of merry + joy to be found. With all of the celebrations, invitations are key this time of year. Invitations set the mood before the party even starts. I like to match the invitation to the decor + color palate of my party to give guests a sneak peek of what’s to come. I decided to have a little fun with it and took it even further this year. I teamed up with Minted to do cocktails to pair with some of their invitation designs. Cards & Cocktails if you will! I love Minted’s rad designs! They have the best fonts + hand lettering paired with beautiful colors and illustrations. They source many of their designs from independent designers which means there is always fresh + unique options. They even do artwork + prints now so you can add some pizzaz to the blanks spaces on your walls for not ton of mullah.
To pair with three of their cards, I made cocktails to match. A Lillet & Bubbly cocktail to pair with their gold new years card, a Rosemary French 75 to match this green bubbly invitation + a Sparkling Planters Punch to go with this blue and yellow card. Each of the cocktails has varying spirits to fit everyones different tastes, but each features the seasons go-to drink: champagne. It’s not New Years Eve without a little bubbly.
This will marks the first year I am sending out New Years cards! I always have the best intentions of sending them out, but never get around to it. I am excited to be sending these Minted cards out to friends + family this year. Cocktails not included (sorry ya’ll!)
Hoping you have a happy happy New Year!
